The Charles is our interpretation of the classic desert boot, named in honor of Raphael’s father, a game theory professor at Harvard Business School who walked the paths along the Charles River every day. We designed it with the same balance of clarity, comfort, and purpose that defined his routine.

This edition is crafted entirely in rich black suede, giving the boot a smooth matte texture and a clean, uninterrupted silhouette. The interior is lined fully in plush shearling for natural warmth, insulation, and exceptional comfort, making it a refined choice through fall and winter.

Inside, a breathable, lightweight insole provides long-lasting cushioning and moisture management, while a sculpted footbed supports the natural shape of the foot. The flexible rubberized EVA sole offers durability and confident traction without weight. Fully lined in soft shearling and finished with calf leather at key touchpoints for a smooth, enveloping feel.
